How many people can the ceremony seat?

Both the ceremony garden and the chapel is registered for 140 people, however this needs to include registrars, photographers, videographers, musicians and a member of our staff

How many people can the White Barn hold?

We have round tables and chairs to seat a maximum of 144. If you would prefer trestle tables you will need to hire these in, we can seat a maximum of 144 on trestle tables also. Speak to our Coordinators for more details

What are the dimensions of the barns?

The White Barn is 7.8m x 13m

(if you require a larger space and include the alcoves it is 7.8m x 18m)
The Chapel is 6m x 16m
The Atrium is 16m x 9.4m

 

What's included for the Wedding Breakfast?

Round tables, chairs, table cloths, crockery, cutlery and glassware are all included

What time do we have to vacate the barns?
Last orders will be called at 12.30am for a 1.00am finish

What local accommodation is there?

If you need additional accommodation for guests over and above what is available on-site please ask your Wedding Coordinator for details

Do the yurts have bedding and towels?

Yes, they all come with beddings and towels (making life so much easier!)

Do the yurts have electricity/ heaters?

The yurts all have lighting, USB charging points, heating and electric blankets

Are pets allowed?

We are a dog-friendly venue, however if they are staying onsite overnight this will incur a fee to cover the deep cleaning following the stay. Dogs are only permitted to stay in the North Wing and Keepers Cottage

Is there anyone to help on the day?

A wedding coordinator will be on hand throughout your day to ensure your day runs smoothly. They will be here before your ceremony right up until your first dance

Do you have a marriage licence?

Yes, we do! Your registrar can be booked through Lancashire County Council 03001236705 and it is now possible to book three years in advance

Amount of deposit required?

Amount of deposit required – for venue-only bookings the deposit is one quarter of the hire fee; wedding packages vary according to each package. Additional charges include a £150 all inclusive grounds fee (including boat and lake) and £500 refundable damage deposit – please contact us for details

Do you have microphones?

Yes! We have multiple microphones connected to our new sound system for your speeches
